Take a Deep Journey; Close Your Eyes & Listen To What The Gong Has To Say.

When something within us is out of tune it can cause dis-ease to arise in our bodies. Factors such as stress, anger, trauma and environment in our daily lives may negatively impact us which can manifest on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level. The vibrations produced in a gong bath help to tune your body and therefore aid in restoring harmony and resonance throughout.

Another process that takes place is entrainment- the synchronization of our fluctuating brainwaves with stable frequency of the gong, which our brains acclimate to and unify with creating overall harmony.

The sound of the gong helps the brain reach deep relaxation , specifically the delta and theta brainwaves. Your brain will find it challenging to follow the gong so you will likely enter into a deep meditative state at least once during the session.

At Tulum Sound Temple we offer a variety of healing gongs that channel healing energy and vibrational re-tuning. Specially curated gongs have been chosen to specifically work on a variety of healing needs for our guests and are specifically tuned to different healing and planetary vibrations.

Our Gong Family

The Venus Gong:

This Goddess of love energy points us to the best pathway for social harmony, confidence and self-esteem, providing a strong sense of self-worth and value. Represents live, sensuality, female principle, harmony and attraction. Cooling, relaxing, calming. Venus is the goddess of love, beauty and partnership. She points to the best pathway for social harmony in each of our lives and tells us where we struggle with confidence and self-esteem. She helps us find a strong sense of our own self-worth and value. Working with a Venus Gong can be very beneficial for a soul who incarnated with Taurus prominent in her or his chart. To balance things out, let us also acknowledge that Venus also rules Libra, that balancer, and the autumn in the Northern Hemisphere.

Each gong and gong player is a conduit for the healing energy being created and channeled, and the gong player gets healed by healing. Your capacity for healing can be increased by your realization of your personal wounds.

The Chiron Gong:

Chiron is known as the wounded healer, a catalyst to help us access our deepest wounds so that we may move forward with strength, compassion, and wisdom to achieve our true destiny.

Chiron is the primary Gong for initiation and personal transformation.

Chiron's sound waves enable you to vibrate and tune into your inner self-healer, inviting a state of harmony and bliss. The deep complex harmonics of the gong quickly silences the mind and entrain the brain into a spontaneous state of deep meditation. The rhythmic sound oscillations facilitate the movement of prana through the body and deliver a deep energetic reboot of the nervous system. These sacred sounds are transmitted into the tissues and are often experienced as a full body sound massage that allows us to let go of stress, worries, anxieties, doubt, fears and feelings that have a negative effect on our health and life.

Chiron says that there is nothing to fix, correct, cure or get rid of. Chiron says that the Wound contains a Gift and that the Healing journey is the process of discovering that Gift. The Wound is Healed when the Gift is embraced.

A Chiron Gong activation offers the opportunity to walk willingly into our Darkness, shining a light, recovering the lost pieces of our lives. Through this healing process we become whole once more, reconnect with our higher celestial nature and take our rightful place as co-Creators of this magnificent universe.

In many ways, the Chiron gong provides a pathway for us to become healers. It embodies our need for healing and shows us the modalities and methods that will bring about the healthiest change. Only through understanding our own wounds may we reach into another living being to participate in their transformation. The sound bath of Chiron provides us with a context for nurturing ourselves, creating a willingness to explore deep, karmic wounds that may span generations or even lifetimes. Only through acceptance can we build wisdom, and the sound bath of Chiron works to moor us deeply in an acceptance of self. In a therapeutic setting, it provides a bond between the healer and the patient, and may be used to establish trust where deep scarring and physical trauma have been long established in the body and psyche. Chiron vibrates at a level that allows for healing of old, difficult wounds, as well as recent reconfigurations of the body through significant trauma or surgical wounds.

The Mother Mary Gong:

This gong gifts vibrational healing energy from Mother Mary. Calm and center yourself in the storm. Healing, inspiration, uplift, guidance, a boost in self-love, inner-peace. She loves you unconditionally— a Divine Mother to all people and all life.

Nurturing, compassionate and understanding.

The Earth Gong:

The Earth Gong sounds deep, like vibrations from the womb of Mother Earth. When we play gently the sound transforms from the ethereal to the material realms, tangible and full. It sounds like lava inside the volcano. The element Earth is associated with the plane of material existence, the condensation of spirit into concrete form. Representing the vibration of the earth - regulates cycles, builds and strengthens, consolidates energy, aids in realignment. The sound is full, deep and grounding and takes you in to a state of deep relaxation. Generates new ideas and intentions.

The Heart Gong:

Represents the heartbeat of the universe. Opens awareness of unity and to help experience connection and community. The heart is a unifier and is said to define our humanity. It is the home of our spirit. Especially in times of discord it is our hearts that yearn for unity. The Summer Solstice is the point where yin and yang come together and it is said that this is where the Heart sits, at this point of the unity of the yin and yang energies. The analytical mind divides, it perceives from the perspective of good or bad/beneficial or detrimental. The Heart recognizes the unity of everything, that there is purpose in everything and that all experiences are vehicles for transformation. The Heart is said to be the “voice of sacredness” that helps us to connect with our true humanity.

The Sun Gong:

The Sun Gong tone represents “a door from one world into another.” Through this tone you are helped to “exit from the known, mechanistic, and physical world…” and can enter ” a new world– a magic world.” Because of the makers calculations being based on the speed of light, he suggests that sound meditation to this tone “will lead the listener to a state beyond good and bad, shame and guilt, beyond space and time, knowledge and wisdom, action and rest, being and non-being.”

Find your space with this gong, get beyond space, and this frequency can lead to a place out of duality, where you are reunited with the Creator.

The Atlantis Gong:

Ancient Atlantean healing properties are channeled and designed to balance the energy field to alleviate physical manifestations of illness. This gong works on the Aura, Chakras, 5 elements and Physical level (including psychic clearing). The energy is very high and powerful, yet it feels gentle and up-lifting.

This high vibrating energy was used in the healing temples of Atlantis by the healing priests and priestesses. This particular energy was kept in the Great Pools of Energy until humanity was once again ready to receive it. Designed to balance the energy field as Atlanteans believed dis-ease was a manifestation of the imbalance in the energy field. We also focus on listening to the body and its messages to find out the root causes of the conditions. The energy is very high vibrational and powerful, yet it feels gentle when receiving it. The Sri Yantra Gong

The Sri Yantra symbol is composed of nine interlocking triangles that radiate outwards from the center. Four triangles point heavenward. Some say they represent Shiva, or the masculine, while the five that point earthward are for Shakti, or the feminine. This suggests that the Sri Yantra calls for the union of the masculine and the feminine divine. We also find that this central point can represent the junction of the physical, manifest, world and the spiritual realms and the Source, your Higher Self.

The Flower of Life Gong

The Flower of Life gong represents the origin of all things through sacred geometry. The collaboration of numbers, shape, and vibration belongs to the oldest myths of mankind. This gong connects vibrationally with our origin and brings understanding of oneself through the frequencies of the Flower of Life. This is a sonic metaphor of the creative primordial sound.

When you introduce the Flower of Life or some other core creative energy form into your life, you are helping yourself, those around you, come to balance. In this balance, originating energy can come forward to create peace and harmony. When this occurs, an individual is centered and at peace.

Focusing on the Flower of Life helps you to move spirit into form. It naturally and gradually moves your personal energy field back into balance, at whatever level you are experiencing dis-ease.

The Creation Gong:  Each Sound Creation gong is a one of a kind and has an extraordinary and particular sound character. The impressive sound charisma provides emotionally influencing sensations. Due to their varied sound colors and voices, they offer interesting, diversified and individual forms of expression, vibrations and tones.  The sound is charismatic and impressive and embodies a wealth of exemplary emotional sensations and feelings, as if experiencing creation, itself.

A hugely powerful gong that is easily felt.

The Eight Corners of Heaven GongThe Eight Corners of Heaven features a unique appearance with ancient mysterious symbols set against a mirror finish. This gong vibrates the eight runic glyphs representing the cycle of life and suggest that the sound of the gong originates in the eight corners of heaven, propelling the cycle of life on earth.

...and lastly,

The Full Moon Gong: The Full Moon represents the cycle from one full moon to the next.

Vibrates with Building, Bridging, Nurturing, Fulfilling energies.  Builds yin; aids childbirth; supports emotional passages; brings relationships to fulfillment and projects to completion, for bonding, birthing and of course, re-birthing.  The Full Moon gong celebrates the depth of our creativity, vibrating us into a full recognition of our ability to manifest ideas into physical reality. This gong’s emanations invite us to rest in a sense of fulfillment, completion and pride in our accomplishments where we can release the stresses associated with feelings of incompetency or inadequacy. This kind of healing allows us to fully embody the place we have come to and see it in its wholeness and divine perfection. The energy of the full moon allows us to break through old patterns and molds that no longer belong to us, summoning us to fully express emotions that we have held inside in order to conform to limiting spaces and definitions.
