For more than two decades, we traveled the world seeking extraordinary spaces, sacred places and experiences that stayed with us long after we left. Eventually, we stopped searching and created one.
A private sanctuary in the Riviera Maya, built around an ancient cenote and designed for sound, ceremony, connection and transformation. Every space, every experience and every detail has been intentionally curated around one belief: the most unforgettable experiences are the ones you can feel.

From the moment Jason and Michelle encountered this extraordinary place, they understood they were stepping into something far greater than a beautiful property. There was a presence here. A profound connection to the jungle, the land and the ancient waters beneath it that asked not simply to be owned, but honored.
As the owners and guardians of the sanctuary, Jason and Michelle are deeply committed to preserving its spirit and integrity while carrying its story forward. Their vision is to protect what makes this place so rare while opening it to those who come to gather, celebrate, connect and experience something truly extraordinary.
For them, ownership is also stewardship: honoring the land, protecting the magic of this remarkable sanctuary and ensuring that all who enter feel the extraordinary nature of the place they have arrived.
Founders & Creative Visionaries
Mitch & Joey
Mitch and Joey are the founders of Sound Healing Tulum and the original designers and creative visionaries behind the sanctuary.
What began as raw jungle land became an extraordinary, deeply personal creation. Guided by the principles of Quantum Design, they spent years working in conversation with the land, designing around its ancient cave and cenote and allowing the natural landscape, energy and frequency of the property to guide what would emerge.
Rather than imposing upon the land, each space was thoughtfully created in relationship with it. Architecture and nature were intentionally woven together, honoring the sacredness of the setting while creating an environment for beauty, ceremony, sound and transformation.
From this vision, Sound Healing Tulum was born and grew into a sanctuary known around the world for its restorative setting and transformative experiences. That same vision later expanded into Cenote Sagrado Events, bringing the beauty and sacredness of the sanctuary into extraordinary private celebrations, weddings and gatherings.
Today, the sanctuary continues under the care of Jason and Michelle, carrying forward the original vision and spirit woven into the land by its founders.

Director of Events & Weddings
Julia
Julia Salinas is a gifted creator of luxury experiences and the visionary Events Director at Cenote Sagrado Events. With a background in Industrial Design, her journey into hospitality began when she arrived in the Riviera Maya and discovered her calling in service and guest experiences. Over time, she cultivated her craft in the world of luxury hotels, ultimately spending eight years at one of the 50 best hotels in the world, where she led the Events department with distinction.
Now fully dedicated to curating transformative and bespoke events at Cenote Sagrado, Julia weaves her expertise in luxury hospitality with the spiritual vision of the sanctuary. Inspired by nature and the sacred energies of the space, she designs events that transcend the ordinary, fostering deep connection and harmony between guests and their surroundings.
As part of the Cenote Sagrado Events family, Julia views each event as a unique opportunity to align intention, beauty, and sacred energy. Whether crafting intimate gatherings or grand celebrations, her work reflects the spiritual resonance of the sanctuary, creating experiences that are not only luxurious but deeply meaningful. Her passion for connecting people and creating unforgettable moments makes her an integral part of this sacred space.

Ana Paola
Ana Paola is the heart behind the seamless rhythm of the sanctuary. As Sanctuary Manager, she oversees the people, details, and daily operations that allow every experience to unfold with ease, beauty, and intention.
With a natural gift for hospitality and an exceptional eye for detail, Ana Paola leads our team with warmth, grace, and quiet precision. From coordinating staff and preparing the sanctuary for each arrival to ensuring that every space is cared for and every detail considered, her presence can be felt throughout the entire guest experience.
Her role extends far beyond managing the day to day. Ana Paola is a steward of the standard we hold here, bringing together service, organization, and genuine care in a way that feels effortless to our guests. She understands that true hospitality lives in the details, often in the things no one sees, yet everyone feels.
Working closely with our entire team, Ana Paola helps ensure that the sanctuary is held with the same intention with which it was created. Her dedication, warmth, and unwavering commitment to excellence are an essential part of what makes this place feel so extraordinary.
Director of Music & Frequency
Kit
Kit Nidawi is a professional musician, activator of frequency, producer, and composer whose work transcends the boundaries of time and tradition. A master interpreter of the Egyptian harp, native flutes, ethnic instruments from across the world, and ancestral chanting, Kit channels the sacred essence of sound into transformative musical experiences. His work harmonizes ancient wisdom with modern wellness, weaving melodies that resonate deeply with the mind, body, and spirit.
Guided by a profound understanding of sound as a sacred language, Kit integrates the science of vibration with spiritual intention, exploring the neurophysiological benefits of music while honoring its ability to connect us to higher realms. His compositions are a tapestry of global influences, blending the traditions of Arabic, Indian, Egyptian, and African music with Mexican and Latin heritage. The result is a uniquely powerful sound that mirrors the sacred purpose of Sound Healing Tulum.
As the Director of Music, Kit collaborates seamlessly with Mitch and Joey’s vision, infusing a sonic soundscape that amplifies the sacred energy of the space. His music invites guests to journey inward, aligning with nature’s rhythms and awakening to their highest potential. Through his mastery of classical, contemporary, and ancient music, Kit creates immersive soundscapes that are both deeply healing and spiritually elevating, offering an unparalleled connection to the sacredness of the sanctuary.
