Waiver information

What the liability waiver covers, why one signature stands for the whole party, and what each guest is agreeing to before a ceremony begins.

One signature for the reservation

One waiver covers your whole reservation. The person who made the booking signs it, or the retreat leader or group representative acting for the party, and that signature is given on behalf of everyone coming. We do not ask each guest to sign separately, and we do not hold up a reservation waiting for individual forms.

Whoever signs accepts responsibility for passing the terms, requirements and risks on to everyone in the party before they arrive. If anyone in the group has a health condition, medication, injury or pregnancy that could affect how they take part, tell us in advance so we can host them safely.

What it covers

The waiver acknowledges that you are entering and taking part in experiences within a natural jungle, cave and cenote environment, which may involve water, stairs, uneven or wet surfaces, changes in elevation, and immersive sound at varying volumes.

Depending on the experience you choose, it may also involve ceremonial cacao or a Quantum Journey. The waiver confirms that you take part voluntarily and that you understand and accept the risks inherent to the natural environment and to the experience you have chosen, including slips, falls, injury and being in or around water.

It also asks that any relevant medical condition, medication, pregnancy, injury, allergy or other circumstance that could affect your experience be disclosed to our team in advance, so we can decide whether and how we can host you well.

For a group reservation, the person making the booking accepts the terms for the reservation and takes responsibility for passing the relevant requirements to their guests.

Health and honesty

We are not a medical facility and we make no medical claims about our experiences. What we provide is a carefully prepared and responsibly held environment, and your safety inside it depends on complete and honest disclosure.

You are responsible for telling us about any relevant medical condition, medication, pregnancy, injury, allergy or health history that could affect how you take part. Please do not hold something back because you are worried it might keep you out of an experience.

If anything at all is uncertain, speak with us privately before booking. Your wellbeing, and the integrity of the experience for everyone present, depends on an open and truthful conversation with our team.
